Would saftey glasses like these work with a third LED added?

I got the idea from watching a video of a WiiRemote work in progress at

That video has become extremely viral   , the perspective correction illusion is nothing new, a gimmick with little practical use and is a waste of head tracking potential. The Wiimote is just being used as a camera and with the official specifications of the camera sensor confidential, it may be no better than an ordinary webcam.

Why 2 led tracking is a waste of time:

With regards to the safety glasses you could disable one of the lights and use single point tracking or add a third light and use three point tracking (the latter would require a rearrangement of the lights to conform with the the standard arrangements).

Glasses perhaps aren't the best thing for head tracking because the frames could obscure your view of the monitor for large yaw movements.
