Hello,
I have a problem with the way FreeTrack uses the autoload feature. Unless I have done something wrong it only seems to load default profiles. That would be okay if those profiles could be edited individually, but if I edit a default profile, all default profiles change and that defeats the purpose of autoloading. Also FreeTrack doesn't seem to support autoloading of custom made profiles. Is there something I can do about this? |

you can make your own profile like this: click at "new" give it a name and you see it apear in the profile list under "default.Open the profile with the name you gave it and make the changes you want. sometime someone shares a profile like this: you have to copy from [Advance] .......Z=0 [Advanced] Average=1 IgnoreBackwardZ=0 MaintainPausedData=0 RollRelativeRot=0 RelativeTransYaw=0 RelativeTransPitch=0 RelativeTransRoll=0 RelativeTransX=0 RelativeTransY=0 RelativeTransZ=0 [Sensitivity] Yaw=19800 Pitch=15600 Roll=9900 X=9900 Y=9900 Z=2700 [Smoothing] Yaw=200 Pitch=200 Roll=200 X=200 Y=200 Z=200 Zooming=1 SmoothStableMultiplier=25 SmoothRawMultiplier=25 Dynamic=1 [Inverted] Yaw=0 Pitch=0 Roll=0 X=0 Y=0 Z=0 [AxisEnabled] Yaw=1 Pitch=1 Roll=1 X=1 Y=1 Z=1 [AxisMap] Yaw=0 Pitch=1 Roll=2 X=3 Y=4 Z=5 [YawCfg] X0=0 Y0=102 X1=10 Y1=64 X2=355 Y2=64 X3=325 Y3=2 [PitchCfg] X0=0 Y0=102 X1=137 Y1=50 X2=349 Y2=60 X3=320 Y3=2 [RollCfg] X0=0 Y0=102 X1=11 Y1=41 X2=315 Y2=54 X3=320 Y3=2 [XCfg] X0=0 Y0=102 X1=9 Y1=48 X2=181 Y2=21 X3=320 Y3=2 [YCfg] X0=0 Y0=102 X1=17 Y1=44 X2=270 Y2=75 X3=320 Y3=2 [ZCfg] X0=0 Y0=102 X1=15 Y1=47 X2=106 Y2=69 X3=320 Y3=2 [Output] MouseX=0 MouseXEnabled=1 MouseY=1 MouseYEnabled=1 MouseWheel=0 MouseWheelEnabled=0 MouseAutoPan=0 MouseAbsolute=0 MouseWheelScale=50 PPJoyControllerNumber=1 FreeTrack=0 TIR=1 Mouse=0 PPJoy=0 Keys=0 SimConnect=0 FS=0 [Mapping] Pause=Shift + 1 PauseBeep=0 PauseToggle=1 Center=Shift + 2 CenterBeep=0 CenterToggle=0 CustomCenterSet=Shift + 3 CustomCenterSetBeep=0 CustomCenterSetToggle=1 CustomCenterReset=Shift + 4 CustomCenterResetBeep=0 CustomCenterResetToggle=1 SmoothStable=Shift + 5 SmoothStableBeep=0 SmoothStableToggle=0 SmoothRaw=Shift + 6 SmoothRawBeep=0 SmoothRawToggle=0 Yaw=Ctrl + Shift + F1 YawBeep=0 YawToggle=0 Pitch=Ctrl + Shift + F2 PitchBeep=0 PitchToggle=0 Roll=Ctrl + Shift + F3 RollBeep=0 RollToggle=0 X=Ctrl + Shift + F4 XBeep=0 XToggle=0 Y=Ctrl + Shift + F5 YBeep=0 YToggle=0 Z=Alt + í ZBeep=0 ZToggle=1 FreeTrack=Ctrl + Alt + F1 FreeTrackBeep=1 FreeTrackToggle=1 TIR=Ctrl + Alt + F2 TIRBeep=1 TIRToggle=1 Mouse=Ctrl + Alt + F3 MouseBeep=1 MouseToggle=1 Joystick=Ctrl + Alt + F4 JoystickBeep=1 JoystickToggle=1 Keymap=Ctrl + Alt + F5 KeymapBeep=1 KeymapToggle=1 SimConnect=Ctrl + Alt + F6 SimConnectBeep=1 SimConnectToggle=1 ProfileA=Ctrl + Alt + F6 ProfileABeep=1 ProfileAToggle=1 ProfileB=Ctrl + Alt + F6 ProfileBBeep=1 ProfileBToggle=1 ProfileC=Ctrl + Alt + F6 ProfileCBeep=1 ProfileCToggle=1 [OutputKeys] YawThreshold=50 YawHold=1 YawPos= YawNeg= PitchThreshold=50 PitchHold=1 PitchPos= PitchNeg= RollThreshold=50 RollHold=1 RollPos= RollNeg= XThreshold=50 XHold=1 XPos= XNeg= YThreshold=50 YHold=1 YPos= YNeg= ZThreshold=50 ZHold=1 ZPos= ZNeg= [CustomCenter] Yaw=0 Pitch=0 Roll=0 X=0 Y=0 Z=0 You just have to copy the text to notepad, save it and give it a name.Copy this file to the profilefolder in the freetrack install folder.Change the file extencion from .txt to .fgp. If you start freetrack you wil see you have a new profile [quoteAlso FreeTrack doesn't seem to support autoloading of custom made profiles[/quote] In my case, always freetrack starts with the profile I last used.Auto load on or of it doesn't matter.So why it doesn't happen by you I don't know. |

Thanks for the reply, though what I wanted to explain is when autoload is on, FreeTrack only loads profiles from the default pool, which can't be edited individually, so when I change from playing IL-2 1946 to GTR 2 for example it uses the same settings. With autoload off is uses the last profile whatever it was, custom or default. But what I meant is that autoload isn't really useful at the moment.

Hi Blindasabat,
as far as I understand, it works by game ID numbers. http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=436&message=3656 So the way it should works is that you have to create a profile first and drag and drop the title from the default list in it. The game ID numbers are fixed in the programs.ini. I can't tell you if it works when you edit programs.ini with the game ID of GTR2. I found: 49923 Try it out.
