Hello,

I have a problem with the way FreeTrack uses the autoload feature.
Unless I have done something wrong it only seems to load default profiles.
That would be okay if those profiles could be edited individually, but if I edit a default profile, all default profiles change and that defeats the purpose of autoloading.
Also FreeTrack doesn't seem to support autoloading of  custom made profiles.

Is there something I can do about this?

you can make your own profile like this: click at "new" give it a name and you see it apear in the profile list under "default.Open the profile with the name you gave it and make the changes you want.
sometime someone shares a profile like this:

You just have to copy the text to notepad, save it and give it a name.Copy this file to the profilefolder in the freetrack install folder.Change the file extencion from  .txt to .fgp.
If you start freetrack you wil see you have a new profile

In my case, always freetrack starts with the profile I last used.Auto load on or of it doesn't matter. So why it doesn't happen by you I don't know. :snif:

Thanks for the reply, though what I wanted to explain is when autoload is on, FreeTrack only loads profiles from the default pool, which can't be edited individually, so when I change from playing IL-2 1946 to GTR 2 for example it uses the same settings.
With autoload off is uses the last profile whatever it was, custom or default.
But what I meant is that autoload isn't really useful at the moment.

Hi Blindasabat,

as far as I understand, it works by game ID numbers.

http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=436&message=3656

So the way it should works is that you have to create a profile first and drag and drop the title from the default list in it.

The game ID numbers are fixed in the programs.ini.

I can't tell you if it works when you edit programs.ini with the game ID of GTR2.
I found: 49923
Try it out.
