N.B- I fly with Z axis and Roll option too..If you are not too familiar you can disable in your profile Hope will work Ok and enjoy.

Just copy and paste into a empty notepad (.txt) file, save it and rename it ".fgc" as suffix   warning:  I leaved it's original name because I use FT only for IL2 then my is:
 -  default.fgc   - but if you want to save the real defaul one then use another name e.g.  "forgotten_1946.fgc"  put it into the  profile folder, open profile list  and enjoy! note. If you want to do some little adjustment to your personal taste, then I suggest to you to enable "auto save profile" into  "global tab" section. Cheers

 one mate, one name..

is there an other way of using FreeTrack in IL2 1946 except the Mouse-Emulation? mouse emulation causes bugs (not enough roll, looses centering if i use minimap etc.) ANY IDEAS?

Keep freetrack free, it is the best example of what opensource development can do;MARVELOUS!!!

Freetrack doesn't need mouse emulation to work in IL2.

in freetrack :
Disable mouse emulation
activate direct output (trackir compatible)
thats it  

in il2
Freetrack is normally autodetected and should work directly from the start.

if freetrack doesn't work, then check your IL2 config file :

open il2's CONF.INI in notepad
search for RTS section
in RTS section ,, search for trackIRUse option
set trackIRUse to 1

that should do the trick.
