Hello everyone!

I encountered a weird problem with free track. I had used it without any major difficulties for more than a year but then, a couple of days ago I began experiencing slow responses, disappearance of left window (with 3d skull) and similar things that prevented me from using it.

I did a complete reinstall of my system yesterday (Win XP SP3 Pro). I installed the Free track again but now I have another weird problem. When I turn on the Free track and light up my 3 Point Cap with IR LEDs, everything works fine for about 10 second. Then, all of the sudden the picture becomes darker and darker in the free track window and I lose track of my LEDs (as if I turned them off) although they are still on. I tried reinstalling the program, I have DirectX9C but the problem is persistent.

Does anyone have any idea what might be the cause and solution?

Better late then never.

I think your problem is caused by your webcam and auto-exposure kicks in. Try and see if you can turn it off.
