I use Freetrack for DCS games. That means I have to click various buttons with my mouse while I am looking at the buttons.
But as I move my arms and hands, my head also moves around a bit so it is hard to point and click with my mouse or touch screen.
That is why I came up with a clutch key idea. When I am pressing the key, it stops Freetrack to work. So the picture just stays where I was last looking at. It's really gonna help me point and click with mouse. After I am done with clicking, I can simply release a clutch key, Freetrack works like normal.
Of course, this key has to be assigned as any key in the keyboard.
Do we have something like this already, I just don't notice it or we don't have it? If we don't, I think it is a good idea for next update.
Thanks!

Using the key combo: shift,F9 will pause FreeTrack.
I have used both shift,F9 (pause) and shift,F12 (center) on several different programmable game controllers for such a purpose.
There are some instances where you do not FreeTrack to necessarily function.
