I down loaded it and tried it out about 3 weeks ago.
You need a dual core CPU to get any decent results.

It just did not fit my game applications and my preferences.
For some people it will work fine!

how does this FaceTrackNoIR work compared to freetrack?

I did give it a try and noticed that it brings to my CPU a huge extra load, some peaks were 20%. Without running a application this is to big on my AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ dual core to do a try on a game.
Still the adjustments seems to be easy and I think if they can reduce the CPU load these systems have the future.

Sooner or later someone will put the algorithm in a chip and integrate it with the camera and instead of raw images, the camera will output the magic 6 values. Then, everything will change! for better, I hope.

I tried this a while back and had zero luck with it. Seems like a great idea, and with my current Freetrack problems maybe it's time to try again.   :huh:
