Hi, has anyone else encountered a crash running any of the ThirdWire Strike Fighters 2 games when FreeTrack is installed on a Vista x64 machine? I don't even have to be running the FreeTrack software and these games will simply crash on boot.
I've contacted the author of SF2 but he is not too familar with FreeTrack and suggested I posted here to find out more details.
I can only imagine there's some incompatibility with the TrackIR emulation as I have to uninstall FreeTrack in order for these games to run.
Is there any way around this?

I fixed this - you just need to 'run as administrator' once to cure the problem (the FreeTrack driver was failing to write 'TrackIRHiaku.ini' into Program Files, causing the crash), the fix appears permanent after the first instance - so you can just run it with normal permissions again.
