Hello, I've just made an model that uses infra-red instead of normal LEDs, but it has an REALLY low field of view, it's about 7~10º of F.O.V, I can barely move my head without it "disappearing" for the webcam.
What can I do? I've read this part of the Hardware FAQ:
I didn't understand what I have to do |

Just make the DEL "Flat" using a Dremel for example with de "Sand paper ring " as near as possible of the "chip" .
Sorry for my English |

"Cut" as near as possible but keep some "plastic" above the chip .
You can use a dremel with the "sand ring" Very effective , it takes only couple of secs . Use a clamp to avoid injuries |
