Class : Apprenti Posts : 18 Registered on : 14/09/2009 Off line	Hello, I've just made an model that uses infra-red instead of normal LEDs, but it has an REALLY low field of view, it's about 7~10º of F.O.V, I can barely move my head without it "disappearing" for the webcam. What can I do? I've read this part of the Hardware FAQ: The LEDs fade away when I turn my head only a small amount. The viewing angle of your LEDs is too small, increase the viewing angle by filing the LED lens tips down flat, almost to the metal part and then make the final finish transparent matte (not too shiny, not too rough). I didn't understand what I have to do

You can use a dremel with the "sand ring" Very effective , it takes only couple of secs .
