Im using a wiiremote and SH485P LEDs, and in freetrack they keep pulsing/changing size very slightly, which even when im looking directly straight and dont move, the pulsings causes unwanted movement.
how do i stop it?! |

In previous posts I read you are using 2xAA batteries.
what is the value for the resistors you use? are you using rechargeables? |

i have the same problem . wiimote + sh485p leds (20 Ohms@3V). All 3 tracking points are changing size all the time, whatever i set in the controls.
head movement in arma 2 is very spongy because of that. what can i do? |

Did you try changing Threshold value? if not, try increasing it to see if that works.
BTW I was using wiimote and got almost same problem... head tracking wasn´t stable at all... I found that (at least in my case) head tracking stability was affected by the distance between the wiimote and my point model, at 6 feet is more unstable than at 3 feet. I think this is because the points are shown very close to each other when a put the wiimote 6 feet away from my point model, but it´s just a thought. |

Tried changing threshold, and im sitting like a foot infront of the wiimote. still pulsing |

I'm running out of ideas
Try using a normal webcam (without FreeTrack) or cellphone cam to check if your IR leds are steady... The next thing i can think is to make a clean freetrack install (uninstalling it, removing the freetrack folder from Program Files folder and then installing it again) Also, if you got a spare Bluetooth dongle (different model from current one) try using it instead. |
