Has anyone found a solution to this?

I've seen a video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEnD0jitcII) uses FreeTrack in BF2.

There is mention of a program that needs to be run.

Anyone have any details?

Now that BF2 patch 1.5  and PR patch are out... any chance of a release for that FreeTrack enabler software?  :dev:

i have a feeling that if a 3rd party app was released to allow this i would end up being blacklisted by PB. i was surprised the widescreenfixer app was removed from the blacklist.

anyone hear anything else of this?

External views are much more of an advantage and all good BF2 pilots use them extensively.

This is just one of the games that I am also trying to find a way to get it working for the Free Look option that the game for when you are in the vehicles.

You are supposed to be able to use PPJoy in order to map it to the Free Look, but sadly PPJoy does not work in Windows 7.  :(

If you are using XP then it is worth giving PPJoy a try.

I've found something about new view on some Russian sites but didn't understand.
Google doesn't help me too much in searching.

I wonder that too... patch 1.5 is out for some time now.

I play PR and is a real pity to fly the helis without freetrack help. :(
