says operation cannot be performed (when i hit start) because the pins are not connected.
so i managed to break apart the logitech quickcam I got because I couldn't find the screw, broke the ir filter and cleaned up the mess, so i thought it would work.
It worked using my cam program and the lit up remote control showed as a light, but then i got this error message in the title. so i realized when i shook the webcam there was something loose inside, so this time i found the screw (doh!) took it apart.... took out a little clear piece of plastic, tried to put it back together and found it was harder the second time but i got the dilapidated thing working in my cam program but still getting the error message in FreeTrack.
btw the error number is $80040209
any help is appreciated for this Newbie, thanks

anyway, so i had freetrack running when i exited the cam program, so i closed freetrack and started it up again and now i think its working ... at least i'm not getting the error message
