First, thanks for FreeTrack. It really works well. I echo Habu's suggestion from several weeks ago that more thorough documentation be included. It took me a day or two to figure out what should have taken only a few minutes. I basically had no idea where to start making adjustments since it was not clear what I was trying to achieve. Anyway, I do have it working. Two issues: 1) I upgraded the software  this week and suddenly the little skull started jittering and jumping around. Nothing would stop it. I finally did a system restore  and am currently using version 2.2.0.267. No more jitters. 2) When I go into Falcon AF, the Free Track software freezes. I need to Alt Tab out of Falcon to restart it. I wouldn't mind doing this, but sometimes after Alt Tabbing out I can't get back into the sim. Any insight as to why Freetrack freezes and is there something to do about it? Thanks.

Hi web,

You should download the last version ( FreeTrack 2.2.0.279 ), the skull bug has been fixed.

About the Falcon issue, I don't know what to suggest? Maybe try to uncheck the auto minimization ?

Thanks for your quick reply. I'll try both suggestions.

No more jitter with the newest version. I tried unchecking the autominimize option and still get freezing of the Freetrack software when I enter Falcon.
Thanks for your help, Remy.

In my ongoing effort to try and solve the software freeze issue in Falcon, I wonder if there is a "hot button" that could be assigned or a series of keystrokes that would do the same thing as hitting "Start" or "Stop" in the Free Track console? That way, I could do it from within the sim.

Unfortunately, you can assign keys to "Pause" and "Center" (Controls tab) but not to Start and Stop...

Sorry I can't help more...

I noticed a similair problem with Red Viper version of Falcon 4.0 ... My guess is that it's detecting the wrong application orso (auto load profile), anywayz my personal problem is a follow-up of it. I still hope they'll implemend a reset (auto stop/start) or start/stop key-combo...

Hmm, seems that FreeTrack and Falcon 4.0 don't like each-other. Somehow freetrack reconnects my webcam during loading (start-up and mission loadings). Normally, the light on the cam stays on when FreeTrack is running, but during loading in Falcon, it's blinking. When I quit Falcon, webcam shows white/ non-tracked dots and I have to stop/start before it will track again.

No idea if this is a problem of FreeTrack, Falcon or a weird combination of it.
Best way now seems to load but not start freetrack untill game and mission is loaded ...

Running Vista 64, other games play nice now with framerate adjusted to x2=60 instead of x4=120 ... last setting crashed my video-driver >_<
