Do you plan to make the new version of FreeTrack, which supports the Black Shark?
It would be great, especially if would support 6DOF. |

Hey ReNNo.
It doesn't depend of FreeTrack, it depends of the game itself. Basically, if BlackShark is supported by TrackIr, it will be supported by FreeTrack. Rémy |

Yes...Black Shark supports TrackIR (6DOF).
Black Shark recognized "FreeTrack" as "TrackIR" in options but it's not responding. Any idea? |

Thank you Quarrion.
I'm gonna ask him. If I receive any ideas, I'll share it with you. EDIT: I'm not sure that this guy is gonna reply. His e-mail address is not anymore valid.

TrackIR supports Black Shark, but in version 4.1.036 .
Even then, you have to check for game updates to get black shark profile. Maybe this is reason why black shark doesn't work. What should I do in FreeTrack to make it compatible with black shark? Or to wait new version of FreeTrack? |

Not working here either damn shame too as the cockpit is a work of art.
If anyone figures this out please post it up. SD

map your head movement as the ppjoy movement

Thanks gearman.
It works.... But just for yaw, pitch and roll axis. Even 0.2 sensitivity is too much, and you can move your head for 360 degrees. PPjoy is not best solution for black shark. You need to spend lot of time to set up and calibrate axis. And after all, you wont be satisfied. |

Sorry, can't answer your questions up to now >"NDA". But I can tell you this: DCS don't support "freetrack"officially. We have to wait for the English release or the first patches to answer this. And yes, I used FreeTrack2.1 on the LLTM'08 with a early beta of BlackShark.

I AM satisfied. The thing is to calibrate virtual joystick properly. I don't use Y axis, because i have a fixed length neck :D. |

It's working via ppjoy, but in case of calibrating I always have off center position. I believe we need another way to use fretrack at blackshark.

you probably shouldn't calibrate at all, if you have calibrated just go to the ppjoy joystick in controllers in control panel and hit 'set to default'
