I config my logitech quickcam chat: Auto-exposure off, light, contrast etc etc.... but when i start a game, the configuration is lost, i can´t set the parametres of my webcam. I tried to configure with the logitech application. no work, with freetrack , no work, uninstalling the logitech application, let only the driver, no work, reinstaling the web cam software, no works ?? With previous versions had no problems, how can force the configuration of the web cam ???? . Now, where is the Force Exposure option ??? I hope you understand my bad English. Greatings to all ¡¡¡

Hi again, no help yet. ??
Well, yesterday I reinstall version 2.1, to compare the behavior of ver. 2.2, in FT 2.1 I configure the web cam and start any game, the web cam still turn on and works perfectly. In FT 2.2 start any game then the web cam restart and lost the configuration, exit the game, the web cam again turn off and immediately turn on again, obviously is impossible play any game. The question is: why FT 2.1 do not restart the web cam every time when a game start, why FT 2.2 yes ??? Is´t possible to fix that ??? (Auto exposure is off) i´m waiting for your help, please and thanks ¡¡ As always sorry for my google English

Hello ¡¡ mmm no comments ?? well, this is a monologue then ¡¡¡
Ok, mi problem was: FT 2.2 restart the webcam (logitech quickcam chat) every time when any game begins, this reset the webcam config, and obviously i can´t play any thing. Well i find temporaly solution , for some reason Freetrack 2.2 restart the web cam every time when the resolution change. eg: my desktop has a resolution of 1440 x 900, when run IL2 with a resolution of 1280 x 768 Freetrack restart the webcam ... ... but if a change my desktop to the same resolution of the game before run the game, the webcam keeps the configuration, i test it with good results with IL2, CFS 3, BoB II and Starshater. This strange behavior is only in Freetrack 2.2 I hope this help someone and Sorry for my bad, bad, bad English P.D: I have a dual boot, Vista x64 an Xp x86, in both System is the same ..

Good find. You should always run your games at the same resolution of your desktop anyway.

Hi,
Same problem here. Along with the cam settings window being too small, this made the whole thing a bit complicated, but we can still work around that before 2.2.1 ! Tracking resolution has hugely improved by the way... |
