hi there.  i recently purchased a webcam to set up free track.  I will be using this for Aces High 2 mainly.  Looking at the handbook i see there are 3 set ups: single, double, and triple LED.  Would a single led work well for aces high 2 being that i have a Logitech Orb webcam?  If not what would you all recommend?  I'm just trying to keep it simple.  Any advice is appreciated as I am a newbie on this.

There are only 2 setups (looking from the "electronics side") :

- 1 led
- 3 leds
(the old 4 leds setup is obsolete)

2 leds     Don't know that setup   .

The differences between the 2 setups are the max number of axis you can handle :
- 1 led setup can handle up to 2 axis (yam and pitch)
- 3 leds setup can handle up to 6 axis (all rotations and translations)

The max number of axis isn't webcam dependant.

Since Aces high 2 has trackir support with 6DOF capabilities, I'd suggest to build a 3 leds setup , to be able to use the full capabilities of your sim (once you've tried 6DOF, you'll never go back to 2DOF   ).
