I GOT IT!!!

Stream/output size = 352X288
Stream/color space/compression = YUY2

restarted computer, set everything to defaults.

Then I adjusted the brightness down to 0

Adjusted the threshold to the breaking point where the dots dissappear.

Manually adjusted the camera focus to get the dots bigger.

Then I set the exposure to -1

why is it everytime I shut it down and restart it exposure loses1?
I unchecked the auto box.

BTW.  I radioshack does not sell PTC fuses.

The logitech drivers have been un installed.
You need the Logitech drivers not the Logitech application software.

But again.  as soon as I try to bring exposure down to -1 the dots, everything in the window dissapears and I have to do a full shut down to get anything back.


Is the floppy disk filter installed?

Use XP and install Logitech driver software ONLY!.
Click on Source arrow and you should see Logitech as a choice.
Click on stream and select YUY2, Frame Rate 30, Output Size 353x288 click Apply.
Click on Camera and click Default then Apply.
Click on Advanced and get a print screen image and post it. I need to see your options.

Then I can give more instructions.
edit: never mind, I was typing this while you were posting.

That is why I was aking about if you did a focus.
