Works like a charm! Search the common sites for it.

Got FreeTrack working now and patched the ArmA2.exe. FreeTrack is running fine, but ArmA doesn't seen to recognise the input.

I did:

- patch game to 1.04
- get decrypted exe
- patched exe
- installed freetrack and built me a device
- freetrack is running fine, i enabled the trackir output option
- started arma
- freetrack asked me to input a game profile name
- entered ArmA2
- had to reset my input controls in the game, since there was no trackir on head analog

Everything should be set up, shouldnt it? Any ideas why the game doesnt respond to the input i make?

BTW: Windows 7 64bit in Test-Mode

How does it work for Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising? I saw it when visiting a friend but there was no freelook at all - even with keys. Or am I mistaken here?

EDIT: searched Google - found it should be working in vehicles.

Just working great guys.

I run vista home premium x64.
installed arma and patched to 1.04
gotten the new arma2.exe file and copy/paste it.
d/l fixer v1.2.0.7 into the arma2 folder and hit it.
started arma2 launcher with freetrack and it was working.
had to go into options and enable the trackIR controller.

But it was working - now fine tuning and i am happy.

In regards to ArmA II, you do not have to use fixed exe's or NoDVD exe's. Just download the latest beta patch for ArmA II, and use the TrackIR Fixer to patch the beta exe. The patch beta's do not have any protection. This works with multiplayer too, and it does not activate FADE.

legend....

i have track ir 2, and which doesnt support arma2.

natural point gave me this bad news today....
http://forum.naturalpoint.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=30113#Post30113

then i came here and found this!!
this fix made it work! good job guys!!

own original copy of arma2, but was already using the 1.04 crack so the dvd can stay in the case. this has been working fine for last few weeks.

and now patched with this track ir fixer....and tested in my regular multiplayer servers....still working and havnt been banned from any servers :D
guessing servers only check pbo's....not the exe?

edit: oh and wea would we find the 104/105 beta exe if/when there is one?

You can download the latest beta patches for ArmA II from here:

http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

BIS updates the betas all the time; sometimes there are new betas every day.

I wouldn't use a cracked exe to play ArmA II online. At some point, FADE will activate, and your game will become unplayable. It's better to use a beta patch, because they do not have dvd checks in the executable :) No need for a NoDVD.
