Can anybody tell me how to install six000's drivers? The zip folder contains some software that doesn't do anything, and when I try to manually update driver through device manager and select the folder, windows says that there are no drivers found.

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out why I wasn't getting good frame rates with the CL-Eye drivers and will be using that instead. For anyone who had same problem, be sure to set the frame rate to 120, multiplier 1 in the freetrack settings under "Frame Rate" tab.

:D Hi all !

I`m new here and want to exchange my testings with
the PS3eye.

I run FS2004 with Win7 ultimate 64bit on an Geforce8800GTX.
I tryed several things out like described here in forum and nothing
worked out for me till!!!

I uninstalled everything the PS3eye driver mentioned here before
and freettrack.
Then first i installed the actual PS3eye driver "CL-Eye-Driver-4.0.2.1017.exe"
from the PS3eye website.
Tested camera ok.
Then i installed latest freetrack version and did not started it.
Then i installed Win7 patch available here in the forum "Freetrack2.2.0.279CLeyePatch.rar"
>copy all files into your freetrack directory and overwrite everything.

Then it comes to my 3point heat model.
I used first the IR leds "Osram SFH485P" with no luck.
They are not seen correctly by the camera even with negative film in front of the lense or disc film.
Now it comes: I used instead 4.8mm widebeam leds with white colour.
like these ones here:
http://www.led1.de/shop/product_info.php?pName=strawhat-led-48mm-warmweiss-1500mcd-1-stueck-p-1799&cName=led-48mm-ultrahell-strawhat-warmweiss-1500mcd-c-245_246

I use them with exact 10V and one 100Ohm resistor for every led.

I put an negative film in front of the lense and it works like sharm even in bright daylight.
Very smooth tracking!
I seted freetrack on 320x240 125FPS.
Treshhold slider you must test i got mine about 1,5cm from left side.
In Camera settings i put gain slider all to the right.
The exposure slider i put all to the left side.
Red colóur slider all to the right.
All other colour sliders to the left.

With these settings i have staedy 120FPS with no chitter.
And no need to put your camera apart to remove the IR filter.

:p best thing is with these white widebeam led you have a flashlite
in case you need some light..... LOL..... :dev:

Kind regards
George

Hi guys,

new here and excited to get some IR equipment!

I have a trackclip pro, with a PS3 eye (filtered with 2 pieces of exposed film).

i have spent all night following instructions and searching google etc but still cannot get this to work.

I can see my 3 white dots perfectly in the CL-Eye Test but when I open freetrack and press start there is absolutely nothing. Only the 2 white grid lines.

Surely if CL-Eye Test sees it perfectly with no background interference then shouldnt freetrack be able to see it?

I would really really appreciate some help with this as its been a long and painful 4 hours!

BTW I have installed the fix for Win7 (in the correct order) and also run CL-Eye then Freetrack as admin, but still nothing. I even changed the usb name in regedit as mentioned in a similar thread.

I have no idea what i am doing wrong  :(

yes it should.

why don't you try to uninstall freetrack and then reinstall it?

Hi :)

Yeah I did do that already, but I could give it another shot.

Is it right that I run CL-eye and Freetrack at the same time? Does Freetrack require CL-eye to be running in order to work?

Someone at work suggested that the PS eye might only allow feed to one program...so running both might conflict??

Sorry for being such a n00b!
