Somewhere around 300,000 hours (34 years, 98 days, 15 hours, roughly with leap years included into the calculation.) Probably a lot longer since they are operating at half the max mA's. Some led's last 10,000,000 hours... do your own math on that one. lol Marcus

Yes, I ship to Australia, and it is $9 USD shipping.
Just to let everyone know: -I have shipped to Canada, Mexico, The U.S., every country in Europe, and Australia. -I will ship just about anywhere. -Shipping outside the North American continent has been $9 anywhere so far. -North America is $5, shipping, except Mexico, which is $6.50. I get asked a lot about shipping cost, so I hope this helps. If you are uncertain about shipping to you country, feel free to ask me. I can look up the price for shipping to your country, and add it my shipping matrix Thanks, Marcus

I have only recently discovered FreeTrack. I have been meaning to buy an IR4 for some time now, but they are not available in my country (Norway), so I was looking at building my own cap with leds. I am not a very technical guy when it comes to building this kind of stuff tho, so I was really happy to see that someone had started building these for sale! It took me about 10 minutes to order one today. Hope it arrives tomorrow!

Thanks Marcus! I received my cap today & was up & running within 20 minutes from unpacking to setting it up. Just fantastic! The service & the product are really excellent & I'm posting my opinions on the FTX site. Really impressed with the effort to get it to me in the North coast of NSW Australia. Can't believe how easy it all was - but I did read the Freetrack manual while waiting for the cap to arrive! Recommend you anytime mate. Also sending you a PM. Cheers, Malcolm.

Hi! I've been trying to get materials to build my own IR cap for ages, but it's quite hard to get wide-angle IR LEDs over here, and I tend to screw things up when it comes to basic electronics, so this thread offers the perfect solution for me... If it's possible to ship the cap to my country, that is.
Something tells me you've never even heard of it, but I figured asking wouldn't hurt. I live in Moldova. It's in Eastern Europe, pretty close to Ukraine. Could you please check if you could ship it to me? (And how long it would take...?) Thanks in advance. |

Thank you very much!
Is there a way to know how long shipping would take, approximately? [EDIT] I have a friend in Israel who's planning to pay me a visit soon. He could accept the package and bring it with him. I think shipping to Israel should be quicker, but I'm not sure. I have no experience with buying things online or shipping, so I'm not really sure what would be better. Any opinions?

Either way its going to take about 14 days. I would just order from there. The U.S. postal service takes about the same time to reach any country in a trans-atlantic flight, so after that, its just up to your country's post to get it to you.
