so the whining at the official CodeMaster forums has brought something ( now Microsoft just should bring a new driver for the Xbox 360 Wireless Wheel so i can use it with Rumble ;P ... ) |

1.2 is out by now
but there is a little bug, either in FreeTrack or in GRID / DIRT so that GRID wont start with 1.2 and FreeTrack installed. Check this thread out for a workarround: http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=972&page=1#7093 |

I am late, but I have tried just yesterday the new patch (I was on holiday).
GRID 1.2 patch with 6-DOF trackIR support works very well. It is not a very good tracking, however it works with beta version of Freetrack, with trackIR profile enabled. |

hello,
for me yawn pitch and roll works perfectly, however on translations on x y z, there is some kind of huge dead zone. if I move on x, it's not smooth, it's almost on/off and the view just bumps brutaly without transition, while trackir really gives smooth values. It's like there is some constraint, and a force that prevent you to move, and sudenly it releases. |

try to set the freetrack curves on X so you avoid the dead zone.
I had a nice tracking without touching any options in freetrack...the track ir support 6dof is nice in grid, you may just have to check on your GRID profile in freetrack till you get the best feeling. |
