As some may already know, I plan to use a DV Camera for my "Webcam"
The problem is that the camera is fairly heavy and needs to be placed onto a tripod so that the Firewire cable/charger/gravity don't pull it down.
So my question is, is it possible to have the camera right beside the monitor as opposed to straight on top?
Preliminary tests(before the rig I have now broke) showed that it sorta works, but tends to drift off upside down, looking backwards.
I have a few different options as to how to place the camera on top, but what's the jist of it?
