hello everyone,

i an new and just got to know this amazing product.
currently, i am sourcing for information to build a 4 led with usb power supply.

can anyone advise me how should i go about constructing it? what are other materials i have to get besides 4 red led lights and a usb cable?

Welcome to DIY, 6DOF - Cougar.

FIRST OFF, the 4 LED setup is OBSOLETE. - S T O P   N O W -
WELL materials: besides LED's you need power supply and a resitor, here is a smart calculator for geting the right setup http://www.free-track.net/english/hardware/calcled/

BUT you dont even have to go that far, do you have a LED BIKE REAR light (3LEDS). that holds all you need for a simple (but very useful) vision, thats not IR.

I will be using led strip lighting  in an illuminated sign for a school project.

The led strip lighting outdoor  I have researched measure power output in volts, not watts.

Why is this?

Does this mean, for example if I can only connect 12 (1V 12v led light bars ) to a 12Volt power supply?
