Class : Apprenti Posts : 37 Registered on : 30/04/2008 Off line	I'm thinking of upgrading Windows from 7 to 8 soon (Because of Battlefield 4), but I'm a little afraid I'll clobber FreeTrack. I see some people have had some problems, but what is the consensus these days?

Class : Moderator Posts : 656 Registered on : 16/11/2007 Off line	No problem for Freetrack here. But verify if you can get a driver for your webcam under Win8. Some older webcams are not supported any more.

My Microsoft VX-3000 webcam drivers don't officially support Windows 8 apparently, but I ran the driver installation in Windows 7 compatibility mode and they worked just fine. I'm running Freetrack as administrator and everything is good now working just as it did under Windows 7!
