- First read Freetrack handbook.
- Find out the name.
Is it a question? Yes, single point mode gives you two degrees of freedom. For Flight Simulator setup have a look at some threads about it in the forum.
- Be patient. This is not Facebook. - Use edit function. |

Do you have followed the handbook step by step?
Try in one Led mode first. You need a single clean tracked point in the cam window. You can verify tracking if the point indicator, in the lower right of program window is permanent green. Changing to red means, tracking is lost. Three points model needs to be measured and set up in the "Model" section. |

First have a look at the "Compatibility list".
Please give us some more information when you request. What kind of LED, resistors, batteries or power supply, and so on.... There are one million ways to make it wrong and a few to get it work, so... Wrong wired? Wrong resistors? You can't see IR-light? What diagram? A this point it could be anything... - Please use edit function. - Please don't multiply threads. Steph

Your LED setup does not work just "fine". You claim to have no resistor intalled, so you are using excessive current through the LEDs. This will shorten the lifespan of the LEDs considerably. The only reason you did not destroy the LEDs immediately is due to the high internal resistance of your batteries under high current conditions. In other words it is just pure luck that the LEDs still function. Your battery life will also suffer quite drastically. So get a 33 Ohm resistor installed immediately. You have been warned in advance about a faulty build. Buy a camera like this: Logitech Quick Cam for Notebooks. Cheap, small and easy to modify. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOGITECH-QUICKCAM-NOTEBOOKS-LAPTOPS-MICROPHONE-/140611793011?pt=PCA_Video_Conferencing_Webcams&hash=item20bd1db073 |

With 50 years of Electronics, I never met a Radio Shack store employee who actually knew Electronics. Why do you think they are salesman and not Engineers or Technicians! So specify the part number of your LEDs like I requested in your other posting. Please read this. I walked him through a successful build! http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=2650 |
