Hello.
FreeTrack is used mainly for looking around in a game, not for actually controlling objects like driving a car or flying an aircraft, right?
Well, has anybody managed to send FT controls to PPJoy POV rather than axes? If yes, please teach me how.

The POV hat is just a digital 4-way or 8-way switch and most games will offer the same functionality on the keyboard, usually the numpad. So there's no need to emulate a joystick, the same result can be achieved by simulating the appropriate key-presses. Being digital on/off it's very clunky though and not well suited to head tracking.

You're right. But I tried the keyboard arrow keys as they are the hat correspondents but it simply doesn't work.
Any other keys work in FT, but the arrow keys don't.
The game is old -- "F-22 TAW" and has the controls hardcoded.
So my problem would be easily and best solved if the arrow keys would work.

TAW 2.0 has native TrackIR support and is consequently FT compatible, so there shouldn't be any need for control emulation.

Man, you're something!
I didn't know of the v2 version for TAW.
Thank you so much.
Now, let's roll!
