I have a problem with my prototype. I built the standard 3 points clip construction and my upper leds merge together in one moment when I move my head down. However, when I continue to move my head down I have 3 points again. It's very annoying sometimes.

Do you have any tip for better model dimensions? Or should I shift the middle led slightly away?

Have you filed down you LEDs if they're rounded?
It sounds as if they're too intense at a certain point and filing down the LEDs worked wonders for me!

I have osram sfh485p. Tracking works perfectly except one point when those damn leds merge together. I think it's because of clip dimensions. I'll post pics later.

I found out that I wear my headphones weird. So I moved my tracking system a bit and leds merge together only when I move my head down and there is no point to move my head further.

Looks like this:

When I move tracking system to another position on my headphones then other two leds merge together.

What I do is rotate my LED setup so that the distance between the LEDs looks even when viewed from the webcam. Then hit the "centre" button. This means that the new positioning of the tracking device becomes the default. Thus giving more freedom.

Hope this helps.

Craig.
