I read some about some cameras which they dont need to remove IR filter to work with freetrack.  Is than head set build from normal LED diode or it could sometimes work with IR LEDs also?

Some cameras don't have IR filter so there is nothing to remove. Some other have IR filters but are irremovable.

Basic idea with IR instead of common LEDs is that there is much less bright IR light sources so you can isolate beams from clip LEDs more easily.

Also, human can't see IR, so there is no lightning on monitor.

So, if camera have good reception of IR light without any modification it is plus for it. Still, it would be good idea to use IR LED for your clip bcs you can't see IR light.
