i have installed v2.2 and it tells me

"The program can't start because d3dx9_33.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

so i did, i uninstalled and reinstalled freetrack at lest four times and i get the same System Error.

but as i did, i noticed something as i installed the program that it would hit a file when the progress bar is around half way done and would just snap to 100%

i dont no if thats from speed or if its just skipping files

it worked fine for me when on vista and i just upgraded to W7 not to long ago

so if you can help me out that would be great

Have you tried installing/reinstalling DirectX 9 or 10? Notice the .dll's name. d3dx9 = Direct3D/DirectX 9
