OK, I'm really puzzled here. I've used and enjoyed FreeTrack for quite some time. My current Vista install has no problem. Neither did my previous XP installations.
I was updating my freshly-never-used-but handy-to-keep-around XP install, because FreeFalcon 5 just runs a lot better on XP. When I installed FreeTrack 2.2, I noticed it didn't connect to my camera. It started "the program" but no (3D) face and head tracking. So I figured it was a faulty install, removed the webcam software and re-installed.
Now it shows a new icon for the camera, but still doesn't "connect" to it. This has probably gone by a lot of times, and if so I'm sorry for asking ... I'm not one to make new topics on a whim, but I'm really stuck here.
How can I fix this?
I'll try re-installing FreeTrack 2.2, but I doubt it will help.
Edit: re-installing either doesn't work ... need to use an older driver for my cam? Current: Microsoft LifeCam version 3.0.215.0
