Hi
You should get more than 12 FPS from an eyetoy ! I get 25 fps with mine. Try to click "antifickers mode" or "outside mode" something like that. Read also both Hardware and Software FAQ. Rémy |

Hello together,
is it right that I only have check "SimConnect - Flight Simulator X" on "Output"-Tab in FreeTrack? I think I have to do anything on FSX, too. But what? Thank you for helping. Florian

Hello,
You just have to have Simconnect set up on your PC and this FSX output interface checked. You can also check the Track IR interface, it won't hurt . Rémy |

I have have check "SimConnect - Flight Simulator X" on "Output"-Tab in FreeTrack. All other views seems to work fine, except the cockpit view. Even with translation X,Y,Z turned off, i couldn't see the Cockpit images(Panels etc), i can see only the scenery.
Am using Nintendo Wii Remote's IR Camera. |

Does your aircraft in FSX have a virtual cockpit? Does the same thing occur with the fsx standard aricrafts?

To get rid of that jumpy of freetrack in MSFSX press ctrl+alt+del, enter Task Manager, find freetrack process and change it's priority to "above average". It worked for me, must work for you too.

Hello. I made a 3 point clip last night and everything is working quite smoothly. I have a problem with FSX though. As I start freetrack and a flight everything is smooth for few seconds. Then head moving comes very choppy and stays like that untill I make the freetrack window active. When freetrack window is active and FSX running in a window behind it, head tracking is smooth as silk again.
I wonder if this is because of the priority Freetrack gets when minimized? I tried to use MAXHO's tip of changing priority to "above average" in task manager, but I get a error report of "access denied" or something. How can you access priority properties when runnning windows 7 RC1? Any other ideas that could fix the jerky movement in FSX? edit: did a little research and noticed that the camera framerate drops radically when freetrack window is not active. When FSX get's jerky and I activate FT window, camera fps and jitter are on red. They go back to green (fps~28 jitter 0-2) few seconds after I activate FT window. Any solution anyone can think of? Camera issue (Logitech quicam communicate STX)? And More testing... when I turn down all the details in FSX headtracking keeps smooth all the way. It seems FT won't have enough processing time and becomes choppy because of that. Need a way to raise it's priority to above average now... I think my PC should be enough to run both FSX and FT? ASUS S775 IP45 DDR2 SATA2 GLAN 8CH ATX INTEL E8500 CORE2D 3.16GHZ 1333/6M S775 4GB 800MHZ DDR2 NON ECC LOW LATENCY CL4 SEA BARRACUDA 7200.12 500GB SATAII 16MB XFX GeForce GTX260 yet another edit Managed to troubleshoot by myself. Did get rid of the user account control settings and put it to "never notify me" and voilá, priority changing works after that! Now FT is on priority "high" and head tracking is smooth all the way! yay!
