Hey,
I don't know if someone already pointed that out, but who already have a TV tuner card can use a cheap mini TV camera, like those used for security. They have a solid 30 FPS, very good resolution. The prices are close to the webcams with the same capabilities, but the TV camera has the advantage of not using the CPU that much.
I have used freetrack for some time with a very cheap webcam and when I got this TV camera I could see a huge difference, especially in the delays. My moves are now almost instantaneously captured by FT.

wow good catch, i didnt even think of putting my ati 650 hd to use like that, sadly im still awaiting to use the Wiimote more =/
